About Lianne
The people I work with are often carrying more than they let on, to others and sometimes to themselves.
I'm Lianne, a Clinical Psychologist based in St Ives. Over more than a decade of practice I've worked with people facing all kinds of difficulties and what I've found, again and again, is that most people aren't just looking to feel better. They want to feel like themselves again. To reconnect with what matters to them and experience more joy and fulfilment in their everyday lives.
That's what good therapy makes possible. And it's what I work toward with every person I see.
My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative. I'll never tell you who to be or what to want but I will be honest with you, work closely alongside you, and bring genuine care to every session. I work hard to create a space that feels safe enough to be completely honest in, because that's where the real work happens.
I see clients in person in St Ives and via Telehealth across Australia.

My Approach
I take an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from a range of evidence-based frameworks to suit your individual needs and goals, rather than fitting you into a single model.
Depending on what brings you to therapy, I may draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), or mindfulness-based approaches.
Whatever the approach, I believe effective therapy begins with feeling genuinely understood. I work collaboratively with my clients, bringing clinical rigour and honest feedback, while keeping you at the centre of your own process. You are the expert on your life. My role is to bring the knowledge and skills to help you use what you already have, and develop what you need.
