Fees and Rebates

I want the practical side of therapy to feel as clear and straightforward as possible.

The fee for a standard consultation (50 minutes) is $270, for both in-person sessions in St Ives and Telehealth sessions.

You can book an appointment with or without a referral.

Medicare

If you have a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan and referral from your GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate. Eligible clients can currently claim Medicare benefits for up to 10 individual sessions each calendar year, with referrals usually made for up to 6 sessions initially.

The current rebate for a clinical psychologist appointment of at least 50 minutes is $145.25. Your out-of-pocket cost for Medicare rebated sessions is $124.75.

Please verify the current rebate amount at time of booking as it is subject to annual indexation.

Private health insurance

Rebates may be available through your private health insurer depending on your level of cover. Please check directly with your fund to confirm your entitlements. Please note that Medicare and private health rebates cannot be claimed for the same session.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule, I ask for at least 48 hours’ notice. Late cancellations and missed appointments may incur the full session fee, as this time has been reserved especially for you. Medicare and private health rebates can not be applied to cancellation/no show fees.

I am unable to provide services for WorkCover or other third-party funders, court reports, or forensic assessments. I am not a bulk billing practice.
